Tabata Tuesday!
If you were able to log in to your canvas account (the online enrichment activities via the district website) you will notice that one of the tabata videos that we completed in class was posted there. He is known as "The Body Coach", and thankfully he has a TON of videos to check out!

Yay, It's Friday! Yoga Day! I know many of you probably have never done yoga before, however there are tons of benefits to yoga. Some of these benefits include; increased flexibility, decrease in chances of injury, builds steady strength, increases muscle tone and helps with balance just to name a few.

We have provided you with two different Yoga videos, one is actually student led and the other is specific for teens. However, both are great for anyone. The video to your right, "Yoga With Adriene," is actually a series of videos. Adriene has her own YouTube page, you can CLICK HERE to check it out. Namaste!

December 5th

Tap in with us for a 20 minute FULL BODY strength building workout that requires no equipment! This workout focuses on 'time under tension'---meaning each exercises will be performed slow and controlled to ensure your muscles are fully engaged. This is a great workout for beginners who want to build good overall strength with basic bodyweight exercises. For the more advanced, feel free to add resistance using dumbbells, kettlebells, or weight vest to make it more challenging.

December 6th
Try this workout 2.....3 even 4 or more times! Each exercise in a given Tabata workout last only four minutes, but it's likely to be one of the longest four minutes you've ever endured. The structure of the program is as follows: Workout hard for 20 seconds Rest for 10 seconds Complete 8 rounds You push yourself as hard as you can for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. 8 rounds = 1 set. You'll complete 4-6 sets of 4 minutes to get maximum result resting 60 -120 secs in between sets. However this is specially made for the beginners and can easily try it at home only using the body.

Join us for a 15 Minute HIIT workout that is friendly for Kids to join in! This is a fun, full body workout to do as a family, group, PE class, and much more. This workout is great for building strength and conditioning with basic, foundational exercises. All levels of fitness are welcome, and you can do this workout petty much anywhere. We have exercise modifications throughout the video and we've provided some alternatives down below for exercises that may be a tad difficult. We had so much fun with this workout and we hope you do to!

Fun creative Candy Sweets Edition | This or That/ Would You Rather Brain Break Workout the whole family can do called This or That or some may know it as Would You Rather. PE distance learning for ALL! Open Physed! (Family Workout) Directions: Students have 10 seconds to choose which of the 2 options is their favorite, and they step to either side of the room or area to show their choice (divide area in half with cones, rope, etc).
